PLAYzone will host four LAN tournaments for almost $100,000

Czech tournament organizer PLAYzone has revealed its plan for 2026: four LAN tournaments with a total prize pool of around $96,000. The company aims to establish itself on the tier-two scene through a series of VRS events and open cups.

The first will be Tipsport Conquest of Prague at Vodafone PLAYzone Arena in Prague on May 22–24. This is a continuation of the 2025 event, where fnatic and ENCE played in the final. In 2026, the tournament will start with four online qualifiers, one of them for local teams. Twelve teams will reach the LAN based on the VRS ranking, with a prize pool of around $35,000.

In the summer, the same venue will host two paid open cups for 12 teams from all over the world — on August 5–9 and September 23–27, each with a prize pool of approximately $13,000. Eight participants will start from the group stage, while four more top teams by VRS will begin directly from the playoffs.

The year will conclude with Tipsport RUSH: Brno at the Czech Championship Gaming Festival held at the BVV Brno exhibition center on November 20–22. The format is similar to the Prague tournament: 12 invited teams based on VRS plus 4 from qualifiers and around $35,000 in prize money. More details are available on the organizer's website: PLAYzone.
