Deadlock Night Shift #26: Abrahams and Melee Creeps – champions of Europe and North America
The past weekend treated Deadlock fans to two exciting mini-tournaments at once. Deadlock Night Shift #26 successfully concluded in both regions – Europe and North America, determining the strongest teams, who shared prize pools of $1,000 for each part of the competition.
Both tournaments were held online on February 18–19 and brought together many talented teams ready to fight for glory and cash prizes.
European final: triumph of Abrahams
In the European division of the tournament, which had an A-Tier level, the victory was claimed by Abrahams. The team confidently made its way through the playoff bracket, starting their run from the semifinals. In the first match, played in a Best of 1 format, they defeated their opponents, and in the grand final held on February 19, they left no chance for Lowkey W, beating them with a 2:0 score in a Best of 3 series.
Thanks to this victory, Abrahams earned the main prize of $1,000.
North American final: domination of Melee Creeps
Meanwhile, in North America an equally intense battle unfolded. The tournament also took place in an A-Tier format, where teams fought for their share of the prize pool.
The regional champion was Melee Creeps. Just like their European counterparts, the North American winners showed an impressive performance in the playoffs. The semifinals and the final were played on February 19: in the match for a spot in the grand final, Floormen defeated No Earnings, but in the decisive battle for the trophy they faced Melee Creeps. The Best of 3 final ended with a 2:0 score in favor of Melee Creeps, who claimed the main prize – $1,000
Both Deadlock Night Shift #26 tournaments gave viewers many spectacular moments and confirmed the high level of competition both in Europe and overseas. Congratulations to the winners!
