Marsborne changes roster and bets on youth

The North American team Marsborne decided to relaunch the roster around Adam Grizz Golden after failing the qualifier for Intel Extreme Masters Cologne Major 2026

By the end of the qualification cycle, the team was close to the top 10 of the Americas VRS ranking, but early exits from FERJEE In House 2026 and BetBoom Circuit X Mayhem São Paulo dropped it to 19th place — below the invite threshold.

The management reacted harshly: everyone except Grizz was benched. Head coach Hunter Lucid Tucker admitted that the roster had become “bloated,” and the organization needed a new course.

Marsborne signed Chance WUMBO Boyer and Mark marekiew Petrov from BOSS, as well as the duo of Adam freshie Paterson and Bogdan ogwizard Savula from insane players. BOSS coach Ben ben1337 Smith became an assistant to Lucid, who combines the roles of head coach and general manager.

According to Lucid, the club intends to break the usual North American cycle of the same veterans and instead bet on younger and more promising players.

The updated Marsborne will make its first appearance at Fragadelphia 20 in Las Vegas from April 24 to 26.
