ESIC suspended nifee for four years for 322
The investigation established that Inner Circle member Dmytro nifee Tediashvili interfered with the outcome of prop markets at ESL Pro League Season 22.
ESIC announced a four-year disqualification of the player after a detailed investigation of the match and bets related to corruption and manipulation. The esports athlete from Inner Circle had earlier been benched under the pretext of “personal reasons”, and the club publicly expressed hope for his return.
The ESIC report states that in Inner Circle matches at ESL Pro League Season 22, a strange pattern was recorded: repeated deaths from molotovs and grenades. At the same time, there were sharp spikes in betting volume on the corresponding prop market.
Bets came from newly created, “dormant” and high-volume accounts, which differed significantly from the normal picture. Demo analysis and expert review revealed unnatural in-game decisions by nifee — he exposed himself to damage without necessity and did not put up meaningful resistance.
ESIC reminded that prop bets, such as on pistol rounds, grenade damage, etc., are particularly vulnerable to targeted collusion and promised to strictly monitor them.
At first, nifee denied any violations, but later admitted guilt and assisted the investigation. Thanks to his cooperation, the punishment was reduced from five to four years: from October 21, 2025, to October 20, 2029, he will be unable to compete in tournaments held by ESIC members.
